Great, relaxing, exciting, beautiful stay with at an excellent property with a great staff.

The staff was amazing, very helpful and just overall nice and conversational. They definitely make the hotel a great visit. Great location from the restaurants, stores and beaches. Took a long walk to one of the beaches and later discovered there was a closer beach, and one of the staff was nice enough to take us on an electric cart down to that beach a couple of times while there. The hotel is very close to the club nightlife, but not so much that is was noisy at night. Great stay and would love to stay there again.

The price lol, but that's just me being frugal. Compared to some of the other hotels it was definitely a good value.

A last minute trip that turned out to be one of my most favorite vacations in recent years!

Pretty much everything! The hotel was smack in the middle of a chaotic environment, but did a great job of creating a calm oasis. The pool was amazing and the staff beyond helpful!

The quality of the pool towels was variable and some were quite thin.

Disappointing

The hotel location was perfect. A few minutes walking distance from the beach and around the corner from the Main Street where all shops and restaurants can be found. I loved the proximity to everything, bars, shops and restaurants. I liked the Island Grind bar on-site which is a bar specialised in coffees and the staff were very knowledgeable and the taste of the coffee was amazing. They were also different variety of coffee packages for sale. Staff were very helpful our first night as we flagged out shower didn’t have hot water and they solved the problem in a couple of hours.

Our room was in ground floor, extremely humid, it received all the noise from outside and especially from a local around the corner that played loud music until late night . The window of our room was not usable as it was directly on the breakfast area crowded of people in the morning. Breakfast not buffet , it was to be ordered each morning, the options lacked variety, it was based on eggs, pancakes and toasts - everything fried and unhealthy and the only healthy option was the one with two bowls -one bowl of yogurt and one with fresh fruit- there was a lot of confusion and long wait time for breakfast probably due to understaffing issues and the fact that the plates came from outside the hotel. Overall, not good quality for money at all.

I real gem at a great price.

The property is right across the street from the Hyatt. It is centrally located right in the heart of all the restaurants and shops. The staff and accommodations are amazing. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure your stay is unforgettable. You cannot beat the price charged per night. You can certainly stay at the high priced Hotels across the street, but this has great rooms, a nice pool, and beach lounge chairs on the ocean. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. They even have turn down service. I want to give a shout out to Sebastian (General Manager) who truly was exceptional.

The location was right on the main strip close to everything. Extremely convenient for the beach. They also have golf cart to take you to the beach if you just want a 3 minute ride. Once you get to the beach find Tryp employee they will give you a beach lounge and watch your things while you swim or eat. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming! I would definitely stay again here.

Adding hotel transfer with stay would be amazing and better service at the bars in the hotel and pool.

Good location and value

This is our third time staying here. The renovations were finished this trip and it looks great! The staff are all very helpful and welcoming! Our room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. The price and location are excellent. The beach is literally less than 5 minutes. Just cross the street, through a parking area and you are there. They have their own area if you want with chairs. There is so much available within walking distance. Shopping, restaurants, beach bars, casinos. We love Aruba and we love this hotel. Would definitely recommend!

Overall, just an average hotel- nothing to brag about.

The swim up bar was cool. The location of the hotel is in the middle of lots of restaurants, bars, stores,public transportation and the beach is a very short walk.

The room looked old and outdated. My bathroom sink drained slow, my room phone didn’t work and there was a very small mini fridge(barely big enough for a food tray) and no microwave. And, with the hotel being in the middle of the everything, get ready for loud music from the bars and nightclub next door until about 2-3am.

If you like a clean place with a comfortable bed at a good value, book with this hotel.

Close to everything, excellent value, beautiful spot on the beach. The offered breakfast at a restaurant next door to the hotel.

It needed updating. But, It was under construction. It really didn’t bother us, construction was only during the day.

The goods and the bads

I don't know why there's so many bad reviews about this hotel. I think is a good place to stay it has a big pool with bar and many sitting areas. The staff is very friendly. Every single day they did the cleaning in the room. It's true they're under construction but it doesn't affect at all. The location is very convenient close to the (very expensive) restaurants and close to the beach

There was not coffee machine in the room and no telephone to call front desk neither drinking water for customers also when I made the reservation it said it has a gym (with photos) For me it's important because most of the time I train. I ask where is the gym? They said "there's not gym" so please remove those photos and let people know there's not gym at all.

Our stay in Aruba was amazing & the staff at Brickell Bay made it beautiful

Loved the location,staff & pool area were always on point.

We didn't have a modern room(which @ first was nothing to us) but at night,we realized the tv didn't work. We went downstairs & reported it. Someone came up,tried a couple of things then told us,yes there was something wrong. We thought that they would offer another room or at the end of our stay offer a small refund.
